Ben Stein
Ben Stein didn't just play an Economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, he is an economist, among many other talents. You can read about Ben Stein's economic insights on his Yahoo Finance blog. As with other economists, I don't pay much heed to his forecasts, but it's interesting to read what he thinks, if you're into that economics/finance sort of thing. Too bad Ben Stein is also a wackaloon creationist who says things like,
"I was thinking to myself the last time any of my relatives saw scientists telling them what to do they were telling them to go to the showers to get gassed … that was horrifying beyond words, and that’s where science — in my opinion, this is just an opinion — that’s where science leads you."
