English is Easy!

The aim of English is Easy!, according to the site, "is to make students of English realise that English is Easy." This is a new site started earlier this month, so it still remains to be seen whether the site will accomplish its goal. The lessons have jumped from one topic to another so far, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone new to the language who wants to learn English grammar. However, if you're already an English speaker, then this site may provide some tips to make your English gooder... er, better.

Bye bye, BlogClicker

Two weeks ago, I wrote that BlogClicker wouldn't accept my Blogcharm blogs because they claim it broke their surfbars. It still isn't working, I've written to them about it and received no reply, so I'm not using BlogClicker anymore.

Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, have you gotten a satisfactory answer from BlogClicker?

Crash! - Photo Weblog

When I first stumbled onto Crash!, I didn't know what the blog was about... until I saw the photos. The theme of the blog is to present a photo of some type of crash in every post. So far, this new blog (started earlier this month) has car crashes and sports-related crashes. It'll be interesting to see which photos appear in the future.

It is a numeric life

If you like numbers and statistics, It is a numeric life is for you. This blog is devoted to statistics and other number-related facts. Even if you aren't numerically inclined, you can still learn something from reading the blog. For instance, if I get lost again, I will try to wait only five more minutes before asking directions!

Twitz

Twitz is another cartoon/comic blog, but with a twist -- readers' comments can influence the story, or the readers can even end up in the story! Even without the interactive aspect, the cartoons are pretty funny. Check it out!

BifSniff Cartoons

BifSniff Cartoons are funny cartoons created by two guys named Bif and Frank. The cartoons are actually part of the greater BifSniff site, where you can also read Bif's and Frank's blogs or purchase BifSniff merchandise.

Caught in a blog traffic war?

Instead of featuring a blog today, I'm writing about a blog-related experience I'm going through. Last month, I started a new blog on BlogCharm because they will pay you whenever someone reads your blog. "Why not?" I thought. "What have I got to lose?" Once I had a few days' worth of content in my new blog, I enrolled it in various blog traffic exchanges, including BlogExplosion, which is probably where you're reading this from right now.

Everything was going fine until this week, when I noticed that my blog disappeared from another traffic exchange, BlogClicker. I tried to add my blog back, but BlogClicker wouldn't accept it. I wrote an email to the folks at BlogClicker to ask why my blog was being denied. Was there some offensive content I wasn't aware of? They replied with a vague response about BlogCharm breaking their surfbars. I thought this was strange because none of the other traffic exchanges seemed to be encountering any problems, so I asked them to elaborate so that I could inform BlogCharm and tell them what's going on. It's been two days, and I've heard nothing back from BlogClicker.

It makes me wonder if BlogClicker is banning BlogCharm blogs because they're affiliated with a rival traffic exchange. If so, that sucks. I'd rather give up BlogClicker than BlogCharm. I'll just continue to use other traffic exchanges for my BlogCharm blog.

Year of the Crane

Political Cartoons is a new blog started last month. I'm not sure what the original source of the cartoons are, but most of them are pretty funny. Worth a few minutes' of your time to take a look. :-)

The Points Cafe is another recipe blog. What I like about this site, aside from the pictures of yummy food, are the categories listed down the right side of the home page. You can look for chicken recipes, vegetarian, etc. with a click of the mouse.
